Crime shouldn't pay and Andy will join other legislators with common sense to continue to fix problems and hold criminals accountable.
Our jails and prisons housed a lot more criminals before our leaders let so many out for COVID. We can house criminals again.

Solar and windfarms offer promise of future renewable energy but today they are financially unviable requiring 50-80% tax payer subsidy to launch. The tax payers don't get that money back. The company that takes the government hand out of our tax money gets all the profit. And when the Governor ignores the expert recommendations regarding Horse Heaven Hills someone needs to pump the brakes. Follow the money.
Our hydro and nuclear technologies are viable now. Keep our dams, manage our fish better and develop small modular nuclear.
The homeless crisis is crushing our cities, state, and nation. According wikipedia:
As of January 2020, more than 5,578 homeless people were living in the King County.[56] In 2020 there were recorded 140 nominative deaths among them.[57]
In June 2021, the Seattle City Council approved a plan to use $49 million of the $128 million from federal COVID-19 relief funds to support the city's homeless population.[58] If all were in Seattle that'd be about $8,000 per homeless person. That's as many people as live in the Cities of Wapato and Naches combined! We can be smarter with the money we have and stop buying needles and start treating people. I have a plan I'll share more on later as the page is updated. "Trees for Transportation and Treatment"
Much of infrastructure and roads were built in the middle off the 20th century. It's aging and maintenance is underfunded. I have a plan that links our funding that can help our economy and our transportation and work toward improving our homeless crisis. "Trees for Transportation and Treatment". I'll have more on this as my page is updated.
Andy wasn't satisfied with the performance and environment in one public school and moved his son Niko to another in Goldendale. It was a tough time as ineffective COVID policies smothered our schools and learning the following two years. It was a big setback for all our kids. Goldendale worked but if it hadn't, parents need options; however, any measure that moves funds for a student needs to be guarded like gold to ensure dollar for dollar goes to the student's education is accounted for and generates proven results.
We need to let our economy flow like the Klickitat River. Excess regulations, taxes and crime are driving our big businesses out of state, some businesses out of town, and many small businesses out of business. We can tamp down crime, we can let up on the taxes and follow Trump's example on regulations. According data posted by Forbes: In 2020 President Trump had a 3.2 to 1 ratio of regulations eliminated to regulations created.
